Auracork was founded in 1956 and in 2002 remodeled its factory structure, being a pioneer in the production of technical cork micro-granulated stoppers, through the individual molding process. Today, the company is proud to have achieved a high level in the technical stoppers of new generation, NG-NOVA for wine, beer, and cider, as well as NG-AURA, for sparkling wines and champagnes.
Investing in R&D and, having its own know-how, Auracork started a new phase with the launch of the NOVA5 and NOVA10 versions. More mechanically improved products, with high organoleptic neutrality, allow a superior performance in the most demanding segments of the wine industry. Auracork thus seeks to raise the bar, from the production of technical stoppers with micro-granules of cork, to levels of excellence.

Natural and Ecological
Cork is a 100% natural raw material, that is 100% reusable and 100% recyclable, extracted from cork oaks without harming the normal development of the species and without damaging the tree. The extracted cork is 100% harnessed. Once processed, into stoppers for example, cork can also re-enter the production process.

The Cork Stopper
Cork goes through a series of stages, from the cork plank to the cork stopper, which depend on the type of stopper to be produced. In case of the technical stoppers, they are produced from a body consisting of agglomerated cork granules, to the ends of which natural cork discs may be applied.
